don't mind this.

:.Jack McManus.:.

After excitedly turning around after finding a bag of Doritos, his eyes opened widely as he saw movement coming from the doorway. He had this embarrassingly extreme fear of ghosts, which just made the fact that he was stuck here about ten times worse than anyone else. He slowly opened the bag, cringing at the squeaking sound it had made before bursting open. As the nacho cheese smell filled his nose, he was able to calm down again, closing his eyes for only a second as he thought of his home. Nacho cheese Doritos were his family's staple. There were always at least three bags in the pantry, and in all honesty, it was the only type of chip that Jack would eat. He laid the bag down next to his sandwich, and took the plain sandwich in his hands. Chomping down on a corner, he chewed, staring at the doorway to see if any other movement would happen. He was tempted to call out for who or what had been moving earlier, but he was terrified of the answer. What if it was an angry ghost, trying to get back at Jack for taking the last slice of cheddar cheese? He shook his head to himself. That was a silly theory. There was nothing there. He was just letting his imagination get the best of him. He just continued to much on his sandwich, taking a couple of chips every so often to crunch on also.

She nodded and smiled, noticing his uneasiness about the carpet burn she had acquired on her knee, "Oh, no. My knee's fine. I've had way worse, trust me. Skaters get it pretty bad. Especially me because i tend to be quite clumsy. Hence, the dropping of the collected wood, and my knee. No need to worry. I'll be okay." She reassured him, looking down at the wood with a sigh. "I would pat you on the back or something, but my hands are quite full. Maybe you could... escort me back to my room, and i could pat you on the back then?" She asked with a smile. He was actually quite adorable, and she wanted to actually talk to him, just not in the awkward situation they were currently in. Plus,

After he had left his sister's side, he had decided that it would be a good time to check out the basketball court. He travelled back to his room that he was currently sharing with Mandie, and he swapped out his cargo shorts for a pair of loose fitting basketball shorts, and his nice t-shirt was replaced with a more practical workout t-shirt, though no one could really tell the difference if asked. Grabbing his basketball shoes and his favorite ball, he roamed the large ship until he came across a sign that read 'Gym'. He let out a sigh of relief, happy that he didn't have to walk any further. After searching long enough, he was just happy to find something even remotely similar to a basketball court. To his luck, it was exactly what he was looking for. A grin appeared on his face as he looked around, shocked by the luxury of it all. The floor was clean and shiny, and all of the lines were there. the hoops all had new nets, rims, and backboards. He laced up his shoes as quickly as he could, and in a matter of seconds, he was up and throwing up shots like there was no tomorrow.

She nodded, shifting her weight from her left side to her right, "I think that would be fun... Basketball can be played with two people... It takes a little practice, though." Spoken softly with a small smile, she grabbed all of her hair and fixed it to all sit on her right shoulder. She was actually interested in teaching him how to play basketball. It gave her a good feeling, knowing that she was teaching people new things. As for the singing/piano part... She wasn't so sure about it. She folded her hands in her lap and looked down at Jeremy, "And i don't know. Maybe i could sing sometime..." The only piano she had seen on the ship was in the big lobby, where they were now. It was across the room, but considering how everything echoed in the room, everyone in the proximity would be able to hear her, which terrified her to a great extent. It made her instantly regret her confirmation that she would maybe sing for him in the future. even the possibility seemed to make her feel uneasy. But she hid it so he wouldn't ask if anything was wrong.
