What are you in this world where nothing is as it seems?

Story:
Welcome to the island of Akail. The island is as big as Maine and is located just off the coast of California. It may seem like a normal island but can you detect what lies here? No? Try this: Nephilim, fallen angels, other types of angels, and humans. All mixed together on one island. Here's another thing. It's Cheshvan soon. This is a Jewish holiday that last one week. Not Jewish? Doesn't matter. During Chesvan fallen angels can possess humans and Nephilim. Did I forget to mention what a Nephilim is? Its the descendant of a fallen angel and a human. When they mate, a Nephilim (or Nephil) is born. They are immortal. They can run faster than humans, they don't tire, they heal rapidly, and have accelerated senses. Did I also forget to mention that they can mind speak to each other and can do mind tricks?? Well they can do that too. So can fallen angels. They can also do all of this. Every fallen angel has one of their feathers stored in a vault in heaven. If their feather is burned then it chains them in hell. Another thing, the fallen angels and Nephilim want to go to war and end their differences once and for all. What are you? Nephilim? Fallen angel? Some other type of angel? Or a human caught in the middle of all of this? Welcome to Akail.

Rules:

Rydel was at the Delphic Amusement Park by the ocean. She was walking around with her friend, Vee. They stopped at a balloon darts booth and paid a dollar each to play. Rydel was handed a few darts. She picked up one and aimed it at a big purple balloon near the middle. She tossed it and it popped the balloon, sending water spilling down the board. She threw the other two darts, popping a yellow balloon and a blue balloon. She got her pick of any prize. She picked the horse stuffed animal hanging from the top of the booth and the guy handed it to her. Vee played, winning a stuffed giraffe. They hurried over to Vee's car and put their prizes in before heading back into the park for more fun.

Patch strode into class just as the bell rang. The teacher gave him a stern look which he ignored as he slid into his desk. He leaned back, stretching out his long legs. He was quite tall, a little over six feet. "Pass forward your homework from last night," called the teacher. Papers rustled as students pulled them out and passed them to the front of the room. "Mr. Ciprano? Do you have your homework?" Patch rolled his eyes and sighed dramatically. "No. I do not." The teacher crossed his arms. "And why would that be?" Patch shrugged. "I didn't feel like doing it. I was busy...with other stuff." He winked at a girl across the room and the class burst into catcalls and laughter. The teacher quieted them down with a stern," SHUT UP!" They fell silent and began the reading assignment. Patch pretended to read, although he was really checking out some of the girls in the room.

Jade was sitting in the back of the classroom. She was very quiet and not talking to anyone. A few of the popular girls were sitting next to her, and they were chatting and giggling about who knows what. She looked around the room as she fell asleep on the desk and a few minutes later her teacher was standing besides her. She woke up, was scared out of her mind, and a few students in the classroom started to laugh at her. "Don't sleep in my class. Do I have to move you to the front of the room?" The teacher yelled at her as she shook her head no and the teacher sighed walking back to her desk. "Jade, darling, please do the exercise on the board. Once you're done, come talk to me." The teacher says as she groans and starts to work.

Patch had just been checking out one of the popular girls when he noticed a girl sleeping on her desk nearby. He smirked and murmured under his breath. "Someone's gonna get in trouble." He turned his gaze to his book and pretended to read once more. Hearing the click of the teacher's heels approaching, he glanced up. She was heading back to the sleeping girl. She woke the girl up and the girl looked quite shaken. Everyone laughed and Patch chuckled, turning back towards the front of the room. He caught the girl's name as the teacher told her to do the exercise on the board. Jade. What a beautiful name. And quite suited for the beautiful girl it accompanied. He kept his eye on her for the rest of the period. Once the bell rang, he shut his book and stood. He blocked the aisle so she wouldn't be able to get past when she tried to leave the room. There was something different about her. He could feel it. There was a slight buzzing when she was close. Could she be....? He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. No. She couldn't be immortal. She must be human. He intended to find out.

Jade kept on doing the exercise that was on the board. She was almost finished as she saw that she sorta was being looked at in some kind of way. It wasn't a girl that was looking at her, but more like a guy. No guys ever looked at her. They think she's weird or gross. But there's nothing gross about her honestly. She just has a different style that nobody understands. She looked over at the guy that was looking at her. She gave a small smile and then looked back at her work which she just had to answer one more question and then she was finished. When she was finished, she put her pencil down and the teacher saw her and used his fingers to drag her over. She got out of her seat and walked up to the teacher's desk. She has been up to the teacher's desk before so it wasn't like it was new to her. "Jade, dear, how come you always seem to sleep in my class? You only seem to do the work when I tell you. Your grades aren't so bad either so I'm concerned about you." Why would the teacher be concerned about her? She didn't do anything wrong. She clearly doesn't like this class. She sighed and quietly replied back to the teacher. "I'm just going to be honest and say it." She starts as the teacher crosses his arms. "I don't like this class. You always seem to bore me with anything you teach us." The teacher was listening in and was nodding. "Is there any way I can make you not bored of my class?" The teacher asked, winking at Jade. "I personally don't know. If you made me laugh that would be even better." She suggested and the teacher smiled. "I'll try to make you laugh then. You may go back to your seat now." She nodded and started to walk back to her seat.

Patch had watched as the girl had gone up to the teacher's desk. (LOL the teacher keeps switching genders) He couldn't hear the conversation but he did notice the teacher wink at her. Ew. Perv. He rolled his eyes and waited quietly for her to return to her desk. The bell rang as she was on her way back down the aisle. He stood up, blocking her way. He was a good head taller than her. He looked down at her and smirked,"You seem to be in my way." He tilted his head. "I think we'll be seeing a lot more of each other soon." His eyes turned slightly cloudy and then they cleared. The teacher stood up and called to Jade. "Jade, you will be sitting next to Patch for the rest of the semester. Everyone else will remain where they currently are seated." Patch smiled. "Oh Jade. What did you do to have to sit next to a bad boy like me? Oh well. This will be a fun semester." He trailed his finger down her arm, his hand freezing when it touched her hand. His eyes widened. He quickly removed his hand. "I'll see you later," he murmured, his eyes suddenly distant and cold. He pushed past her and out of the classroom.

Jade was back in her seat by this time as the bell rang a few minutes later. She packed up all of her books and stood up. Annoyingly, a guy was blocking her while she was trying to walk out of the classroom. She tried to move left or right to get out, but she couldn't see too well over the guy's head. She groaned and looked up at him. He was taller than her. "How about you're more in my way?" She snapped, flipping her hair, and smirking. She didn't have time for any guys. Some guys really disgusted her. But some, though, she actually thinks are alright. She listened as the teacher started to talk. Joy, she is going to sit next to the guy who is blocking her. That's such a joy for her. "Oh how fun for me," She said quietly towards the floor as she wasn't looking up at the guy. She looked back up at him quickly after as she sighed and tried to look up at the clock. If the guy didn't move aside now, she would be late for her next class. "Bad boy? Psh! You're nothing, but a coward pig. I seen guys like you. You think you're always so great than everyone else and you always look for the girl that you want. Then what you do? You cheat on her and only want to have sex with her. Then after you get what you want you disappear out of the girl's life." She watched him as he started to touch her. His hand was freezing and she smacked his hand off of her hand. "Don't touch me! What were you even trying to do, Mr. Patch?" She snapped, as she pushed him and walked out of the classroom finally.

Patch's eyes flashed as he watched her leave. "This will take some work. But I will get you eventually, Jade." He said quietly. He walked off to his next class, and the one after that, and the one after that. When the day ended, he walked outside and leaned against his motorcycle. He was hoping to see the girl again. He couldn't tell her the real reason why he was so interested in her. If he told her, she probably would get mad at him. She probably wouldn't even believe him. He had to find out if she was immortal first. His intent to find her, he was waiting outside the doors she would have to come out of to leave. Maybe he'd take her for a little ride on his bike. Who knows? He just needed to talk to her.
